Besides Unilever, this project has the participation of different stakeholders, including the Institute for In Vitro Sciences (IIVS), Laboratory of Education and Research in In Vitro Toxicology (Tox In), InnVitro Suporte e Gestão em Toxicologia, Brazilian Centre for Validation of Alternative Methods (BraCVAM), Animal-Free Safety Assessment (AFSA) Collaboration and Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC)/Latin America.

The webinars aim to help build awareness and increase confidence in the use of new approach methodologies (NAMs) for human and environmental safety assessment in Latin America. Different topics have been planned for each webinar, including in vitro tools and approaches for lung toxicity, skin sensitisation and eye toxicity safety assessments, the validation process of alternative methods to animal experimentation, and animal-free analytical tools applied for safety assessment.

The recording of the previous webinars can be accessed on YouTube channel of the Laboratory Tox In/UFG.
