SETAC is a not-for-profit, worldwide professional organization composed of about 5,000 individuals and institutions in more than 90 countries dedicated to the study, analysis, and solution of environmental problems, the management, and regulation of natural resources, research and development, and environmental education with more than 1600 European members.
Bruno highlights “that is with a huge pride, that I have the opportunity to give back to an organization which is so intrinsically connected with my development as a person and scientist since my early days as a student”.He continues “As SETAC EU President, my challenge for the year ahead is to continue to work with all the stakeholders to foster the development of the society, support its positioning as a balanced, multistakeholder forum, where scientists from Academia, Industry, Governments, NGOs and civil society meet to share and discuss findings addressing some of the multifaceted problems our people and planet are facing.”
Bruno joined SEAC, Unilever six years ago and has put his expertise to use in developing, evaluating, and applying our environmental safety science capabilities.
