SEAC has embarked on an exciting collaboration with the University of Sheffield to establish a new UK talent pipeline of Life Cycle Assemssment (LCA) Scientists. A specialized short course in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) has been developed together and we are now jointly supervising 11 Masters degree projects. Additionally, we are exploring new research areas together. Feedback from the students involved has been excellent, underscoring the successful realisation of our initial vision of expanding UK LCA capability.

Katy said ”I’m very excited about our new partnership with the University of Sheffield and honored to be awarded a visiting lecturership. It’s essential that we invest in training the next generation of sustainability scientists, demonstrating a range of real-world application contexts. In addition, we are looking forward to the research opportunities such a partnership will bring.”
